Vous pouvez dés à présent ajouter facilement Ixquick à votre liste de moteurs de recherche Firefox. Les moteurs de recherches apparaissent dans le menu déroulant à coté de la barre de recherches dans votre navigateur Firefox.
Vous pouvez maintenant facilement ajouter Ixquick à votre liste de pourvoyeurs de recherches pour Internet Explorer 7 (IE7). Pourvoyeurs de recherches apparaît dans le menu déroulant à coté de la barre de recherches à l’intérieur de votre navigateur IE7.
Après installation, choisissez Ixquick à partir du menu déroulant de la boite de recherches.Vous êtes maintenant prêt à effectuer votre recherche : entrez l’objet de votre recherche et activez Entrée!
Malheureusement votre navigateur ne peut accepter l’utilisation de modules complémentaires. Le module complémentaire d’Ixquick fonctionne sur Internet Explorer 7 et sur Firefox.
Configuration requise:
- Internet Explorer 7.0 (Windows XP, Vista)
- Firefox 1.0+ (Windows, Macintosh, Linux)

You can now easily add Ixquick to your Opera browser.
The Ixquick search engine will then appear in the drop-down menu next to the search bar inside your browser.

Instructions:

1. Allez à http://www.ixquick.com.
|
2. Clic droit sur la boite de recherche ixquick ( à gauche du bouton bleu «recherche» )

2. Clic Ctrl sur la boite de recherche ( à gauche du bouton bleu). ( Pour les utilisateurs de Mac )
|
3. Sélectionnez « Création de recherche » à partir du menu de contexte.
|
4. Dans le champ « mot-clé », mettre 'ix'.
|
5. Clic « Détails >> », et cocher « Utiliser comme moteur de recherche par défaut »
|
6. Clic « OK », et vous pouvez utiliser Ixquick comme votre module de recherche préféré.

7. Si Ixquick n'apparaît pas comme alternative dans la boite de recherche, cliquez sur la petite flèche noire dans la boite de recherche ( coin supérieur droit du navigateur ) et sélectionner Ixquick.

You can now easily add Ixquick to your Safari browser.

1. Click dropdown in the search box of your browser.
|
2. Select "AcidSearch Preferences.. or Edit Search Channels.." from the dropdown.
|
3. If it is not present downalod and install the Acidsearch plugin from http://www.pozytron.com/files/AcidSearch062.zip.

4. After installing AcidSearch plugin and restarting safari repeat steps 1 and 2 and then go to step 5.
|
5. Click "New Channel".
|
6. Enter 'Ixquick' in "Title".
|
7. In "Prefix URL" enter 'http://ixquick.com/do/metasearch.pl?query='
|
8. Close the window.

You can now easily add Ixquick to your Konqueror browser.
To add Ixquick as web shortcut to your konqueror browser follow below Instructions.

Instructions:

1. Goto "Settings" in the Konqueror menu of your Browser.
|
2. Then Select "configure konqueror..".
|
3. Then choose "Enhanced Browsing or Web Shortcuts" from the sidebar on the left, and you will get a nice long list of shortcut.

4. Click "New" button.
|
5. Enter 'Ixquick' in Search Provider "Name:"
|
6. Enter 'http://ixquick.com/do/metasearch.pl?query=' in "Search URI:".
|
7. Enter your own shortcuts e.g: 'ix,ixq,ixquick' in "URI Shortcuts:".
|
8. Click OK.
|
After following these instructions, you're ready to search: just enter "ix: Web Intensive" and press Enter!
